Penal Justice Board
The Commission is the Body set up by the Milan Bar Association for the study, analysis and solution of problems relating to the administration of criminal justice.
Its main task is contributing to the proper adminstration of the criminal justice, in accordance with national and international legislation.
Inside the Commission are the established sub-commissions “Penitentiary” and “Public Defense”. The former keeps contact with detention centres in the greater Milan area and with institutions, bodies and associations promoting new ways of enforcing criminal justice. The latter’s purpose is to ensure the effectiveness of public defense warranties.
